Hello / dobry den,

First of all - wish you all the best & hope the numbers will be even higher than last year :)

Is there any chance to implement a progressive content and limit few features for some specific time (for example Tiat / 150 + crystals)? It will extend the server's lifetime, make it more competitive (early & mid-stage) and casual-friendly in the same time.

I'm pretty sure it's possible from dev's point of view, please run a poll and let the community decide! :)

Cheers,
Opiate.

Hello,

Technically it is definitely feasible, and not that hard to do. In order to disable SoI/SoD you just need to remove 2 NPCs from spawn - this will effectively disable all activities in the seeds (unless I did not think of something).

I personally quite like this idea. We were actually playing around with the thought of limiting the game progress by introducing level limits over time, but finally decided against it. Your suggestion is much softer, targeting only one specific area. I could imagine that the Seeds would be closed for first 2-3 weeks. Let's see about other opinions.

@Teclis - did you have a chance to discuss it internally?

We have no problem with this internally as I wrote. We like the idea, but we want to keep the discussion open as there is still a lot of time to make a final decision.

ok, so we discussed in the team how this could look like, so this is our initial proposal:

SoI
Will be closed for the first week (by disabling Tepios NPC). Will be opened after restart on 21st of September

SoD
Access to tiat will be disabled for the first two weeks (By disabling the entry NPC). SoD access will be opened on 28th of September. After this, one more week it will be impossible to open SoD for crystal farm (killing of Tiat will not contribute any points to opening SoD). So from 5th of October everything will work normally.

To be honest, this will make very little difference, when was the first tiat kill last server? I don't think it was sooner than 2nd week. Therefore there will be no difference from last year. For the idea to work as intended the SOD would have to be closed for 6-8 weeks... On one server there was a closed SOD until stage 7 of HB. That was imho almost ideal. With rated staging of HB this will make SOD opened in around 6 weeks maybe a little more.

1. move SoD access to 5th of October and it should be fine
2. Or connect it with HB level as was suggested in post above.

Connecting access to SoD with Hellbound reaching level 7 is also feasible approach.

In that case I would suggest restricting both cohemenes and ekimus (until similar stage of HB) but not Twins. Imho Twins should be unrestricted from the start.

kubajz

Definitely, twins should be accessible from the beginning

Delay tiat as much as possible.Twins should be up from the start i dont see any reason why they shouldnt.

Connecting access to SoD to game content is better approach imo.

Connect it with HB level and open the twins from start

Very well then...Tiat & Cohemenes will be inaccessible until Hellbound reaches level 7. Twins will be accessible from the start.
